On the third day of the Hyundai India Couture Week, Aditya Roy Kapur became a showstopper for Kunal Rawal, coming on the ramp in his best attire. Dressed in a gorgeous blue sherwani that had cool patola-inspired motifs worked in gunmetal hues and paired with a flowing denim Patiala from the Sehra collection, he got everybody up and paying attention to The Night Manager.

Sehra,' called Kunal Rawal, was the ornate headgear that an Indian groom wears on his head—beautifully fusing tradition and modernity. It is a rich tapestry of fabrics, starting with sumptuous silks to opulent brocades, precise bandhani, and artful dhup chao threadwork. Every garment has been detailed intricately—and innovatively—with takes not only on French knots but even daring micro motifs.

What really added to the attraction of the evening was when stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania made an appearance on the ramp with her version of androgynous fashion. She seemed quite effortless in the menswear-inspired billowy shahara jacket set, with very minimalist makeup and hair, definitely keeping the outfit at center stage.

Sharing what inspired him, Kunal Rawal said, "Having inaugurated and attended many weddings of people who matter in my life, I have grown to respect the fact that a wedding day is equally important to the groom as it is for the bride. That forms the underlying idea behind my 'Sehra' collection.". Each design is crafted to enhance the groom’s ensemble and to pay homage to the rich tapestry of traditions and emotions that define this special occasion.”
