Kim Jong Un seen after 36 days: ordered the army to prepare for war

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has once again come into the limelight. Actually, he was not seen in any public event for the last 36 days, after which he was suspected to be ill. However, on Monday he attended a meeting of the Central Military Commission of the ruling Workers' Party.
The Independent quoted the Korean Central New Agency as saying that top military officers were involved in Kim's meeting. He talked about making necessary changes in the army and strengthening the military from within. According to the report, Kim has also ordered his military to expand war drills and strengthen war preparations.
The news agency said that the department that monitors North Korea's nuclear missile tests has been renamed 'Missile General Bureau'. This is the first time this military branch has been mentioned publicly. Apart from this, new flags of several departments of North Korea's military have also been launched. The flag of the Missile General Bureau branch features the icon of the country's largest intercontinental ballistic missile, the Hwasong 17.
North Korea's military 'The Korean People's Army' is about to complete 75 years. On this occasion, there will be a parade on Wednesday, in which Kim Jong Un can take part. This parade will be held in the capital Pyongyang. The dictator had missed an important meeting on Sunday, following which speculations were rife about his health.
Significantly, this break of 36 days was the second biggest break for Kim. Earlier in the year 2014, he went missing for 40 days, after which apprehensions about his death were raised.
