The company has cited the problem of the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) as the reason behind recalling so many of its vehicles. Kia has blamed a fault in the Integrated Charging Control Unit as the reason behind recalling the EV6 electric car. With respect to their role, ICCU charges the large battery pack's high voltage down to the 12V battery in electric vehicles for supporting crucial electronic parts such as climate control, infotainment systems, speakers, and lights. In addition, it powers other parts of the car. Apart from this, it facilitates the powering of the accessory devices attached to the automobile with functionality.

Kia EV6 customers can go and test their electric car at the nearest dealership; furthermore, company people will directly call whose vehicles have this issue. If any fault is found in your electric vehicle it will be changed free of cost.

The battery pack of the new Kia EV6 comes in at 77.4 kWh, with a single rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. Other features include dual 12.3-inch curved display screens, 64-color ambient lighting, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, a sunroof, eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control with automatic emergency braking for lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot collision avoidance. The price of the Kia EV6 ranges from Rs 60.97 lakh for the base variant to Rs 65.97 lakh for the top-end variant.
