Kia Carens facelift is being tested simultaneously in both India as well as South Korea. During testing in India, it has also been spotted many times. The facelift avatar of Kia Carens, due to arrive next year, may enter production by May. Several camouflaged test mules of its facelifted MPV have been spied. Meanwhile, it is being reported that the brand might also provide EV powertrain with its facelifted lineup.

A lot of changes can be seen in the facelift of Carens. Completely new looks can be given to its front and rear. Which will include reprofiled bumpers and new grille and headlamps. Some changes can be made to its cabin. In which, like Seltos, the design of the dashboard and the interior can be similar. Along with this, a 360-degree camera and ADAS suite can also be found in it.

The recently launched Carens is available with 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. There are manual and automatic gearbox options available. According to Jagran, a completely new electric powertrain can be seen in it. If this happens, then it will give direct competition to BYD eMax 7.

Carens has been available in India since 2022. The production of its facelift can start from May 2025 next year. Along with this, sales can also start from next year itself. Not only this, its electric version can also be launched along with the facelift. According to reports, its monthly production will be around 2,000 units.
