KGF star Yash replaces Hrithik: Yash will now be seen in the role of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is preparing to make a mythological film on Ramayana for the past few days. The script of the film has been prepared, in which Hrithik Roshan was approached for the role of Ravana. However, according to the latest reports, it will not be Hrithik Roshan but KGF star Yash will play the negative role of Ravana.
According to a recent Pinkvilla report, Hrithik Roshan has turned down the offer of a film being made on Ramayana. Hrithik no longer wants to play negative roles. Hrithik had also played a negative role in the earlier released film Vikram Vedha and he does not want to play another negative role.
After Hrithik Roshan rejected the offer, Nitesh Tiwari and producer Madhu Mantena now decided to offer the role to KGF star Yash. The makers have also handed over the script of the film to Yash. As per reports, Yash has started script reading. He already has scripts for 4-5 films, so Ravana of Ramayana can now become Yash.
Along with Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor has also been offered the film. Ranbir has been approached for the role of Lord Shri Ram. At present, no confirmation has come out from his side.
Nitesh Tiwari and Madhu made the official announcement of the film going to be made on Ramayana in the year 2019. After the casting of the film is finalized, the shooting of the film will start this year between May-June. Currently, director Nitesh Tiwari is busy shooting for the film Bawal, in which Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor is in the lead role.
