KGF Chapter 2 became the most popular film of the year

Recently, the ticket-booking platform 'Book My Show' shared its annual report for the year 2022. The names of those Indian films have been included in this list, which has performed best at the box office this year. South Superstar Yash's film KGF2 tops the list of most popular films. If reports are to be believed, KGF2 sold a total of 2.14 million tickets on April 14, making the film the highest-grossing film of 2022.
If reports are to be believed, KGF2 had a sale of around 34% on the weekend alone. With this, the film has broken the 5-year-old record of Bahubali The Conclusion, 17.7 tickets have been sold for the overall film.
Even though SS Rajamouli's film RRR is the highest-grosser of the year, KGF has won the Indian box office in terms of tickets. KGF Chapter 2 has sold more tickets than RRR in India.
According to reports, the list includes popular films like KGF: Chapter 2, RRR, The Kashmir Files, Ponniyan Selvan, Brahmastra: Part 1, Shiva, Vikram and Doctor Strange: In the Multi Universe of Madness. Apart from this, the names of films like Kantara, Kartikeya, The Kashmir Files, Sita Ramam, and 777 Charlie are also included in this list.
