Kawasaki India has said that the ZX-6R will be launched in the Indian market on January 1, 2024. In terms of exterior design and styling, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is inspired by its bigger sibling Kawasaki ZX-10R. Talking about the hardware, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is equipped with fully adjustable 41 mm inverted forks at the front and a fully adjustable gas-charged mono-shock at the rear.

Kawasaki India introduced the ZX-6R in India at IBW 2023. The company has now announced that it will launch the motorcycle for the Indian market on January 1, 2024. The new Kawasaki ZX-6R has received some design updates and the engine has been tuned to comply with current emission norms. Come, let us know about it.

In terms of exterior design and styling, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is inspired by its bigger sibling Kawasaki ZX-10R. Due to its supersport motorcycle nature, it features a clip-on handlebar, rear-set footpegs and a split headlamp setup with LED lighting elements.

Talking about the hardware, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is equipped with fully adjustable 41 mm inverted forks at the front and a fully adjustable gas-charged mono-shock at the rear. For braking duties, it has a 310 mm disc with 4-piston callipers at the front and a 220 mm single disc at the rear, which is also equipped with a single-piston calliper.

Furthermore, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is built on an aluminium perimeter frame. Talking about the features, it has a 4.3-inch colour TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity, traction control, power mode and an anti-lock braking system.

In terms of performance, the ZX-6R is powered by a 636 cc, in-line four-cylinder engine, capable of producing a power output of 129 bhp and 69 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with quick-shifter and slip-and-assist clutch. It can be launched at a starting ex-showroom price of around Rs 11 lakh.
