After making waves at international film festivals and receiving critical acclaim during its theatrical release in March 2023, Nandita Das' Zwigato is finally set to debut on OTT. The much-awaited film, featuring ace comedian Kapil Sharma in a serious role, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 25, 2024.

Produced by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives, Zwigato is the story of the life of a food delivery driver and his struggles in the gig economy. Known for his comic personality, Kapil Sharma stunned the audience with his honest portrayal of a man grappling with the harsh realities of his job. Shahana Goswami plays his supportive wife, who adds emotional depth to the film. The supporting cast includes talented actors like Gul Panag, Sayani Gupta, Swanand Kirkire and Tushar Acharya.

Despite positive reviews from critics and audiences, Zwigato faced challenges in finding a place on digital platforms after its theatrical release.
