Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has given a big statement regarding the Lok Sabha elections. He has said that Rahul Gandhi will not only be the face of the opposition in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but will also be the prime ministerial candidate. In an email interview with the news agency PTI, Kamal Nath praised Rahul Gandhi for leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
In the interview, Kamal Nath said that no one in the history of the world has done such a long walk. The Congress leader said that apart from the Gandhi family, no other family has made so many sacrifices for the country. He said that 'Rahul Gandhi does not do politics for power, but does it for the people of the country, who makes anyone sit in power.
Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath said there is no place for 'traitors' in the party after betraying the organization. When asked whether there is any possibility of Jyotiraditya Scindia returning to the party in future? On this, Kamal Nath said that I will not comment on any person, but the 'traitors' who betrayed the party. Broke the trust of its workers, there is no place for them in the organization.
Kamal Nath said that the BJP can change any chief minister, but it will not make any difference as the people have made up their minds to elect the Congress in Madhya Pradesh. He also said that before the assembly elections initiative will be taken to change the organization in the state. Elections are due in Madhya Pradesh by the end of next year and the Congress is trying to wrest power from the BJP in the state.
Kamal Nath also spoke a lot about the agitations being carried out by the employees in different states of the country including Madhya Pradesh for the implementation of the old pension scheme. Kamal Nath said that soon after the formation of the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, the old pension scheme will be implemented in the state.
