Jyoti of 'Nooran Sisters' will get divorce

Jyoti Nooran, a member of a pair of female Sufi singers known worldwide as the Nooran Sisters, has accused her husband of assaulting her. In Jalandhar on Saturday, Jyoti Nooran alleged that her husband Kunal Pasi is a top-notch drug addict. She has filed a case in the court for divorce from Kunal.
Famous by the name of Nooran Sisters, Sultana Nooran and Jyoti Nooran belong to Jalandhar. Jyoti Nooran is the eldest of the two sisters. In a press conference called on Saturday, Jyoti Nooran said that she had married Kunal Pasi of her own free will in 2014. Everything was fine for a year of marriage but after that Kunal started beating her.
The Sufi singer also accused her husband of missing twenty crore rupees. Jyoti Nooran said that her husband Kunal Pasi had disappeared whatever she had earned by doing shows in the country and abroad. Now only 92 thousand rupees are left in his account. Jyoti said that Kunal used to keep all the accounts of money. He used to book his shows too. Even after asking several times, Kunal did not give him any account. Kunal spent all the money on other expensive drugs apart from opium-charas and ganja.
When asked if she knew that Kunal was a drug addict before doing a love marriage? So Jyoti said that before marriage he only knew that he smokes. They came to know after a year of marriage that she was a top-notch drug addict.
Referring to a show in Phagwara, Jyoti Nooran told that after the show ended in the night, she told Kunal that she was very tired and wanted to go home to Jalandhar and rest. After this, as soon as she started sitting in the car to go home, Kunal started beating her. All the people present there saw that scene. Kunal hit something he was holding in his hand in his head. His pain is still in his head.
On the question of not giving any complaint to the police in the last seven-eight years, Jyoti said that she thought that Kunal would improve and gradually everything would be fine. When the water started passing through the head, they had to file divorce papers in court. Jyoti Nooran said that now his strength to bear is over.
Jyoti says that after getting divorced from Kunal, she will go back home and both the sisters will start the show again with their father.
