Jodhpur News: The 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme helps prevent the decline in child sex ratio throughout life and also resolves issues related to women's empowerment. The above things have been said by Vice Chancellor Dr. Arun Kumar.

The Agricultural University Jodhpur organized an awareness program on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' in the villages Binjwadia and Balrava adopted under the University Social Responsibility.
The Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University, Dr. Arun Kumar gave the message on this occasion that we should celebrate the birth of a girl, as well as be proud of our daughters like sons.
He said that the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme helps prevent the decline in child sex ratio throughout life and also resolves issues related to women's empowerment. During this, the Agriculture University appealed to the villagers to plant trees on the birth anniversary of their daughters.
During this, the importance of daughters was discussed in the government schools of both villages, and information was given about various government schemes including education and health for daughters. On this occasion, rallies were taken out in support of daughters by raising slogans like "Our mantra, "Son and daughter are equal", "Daughter is a priceless gift, education is her right", "Daughter is no less than anyone, erase all your misconceptions", "Don't keep daughters illiterate, daughters will also become big officers" by the students.
Dr. Mahendra Kumar, Nodal Officer of the adopted village, threw light on the objectives of the program. During this, the Dean of Agriculture College, Dr. Jivaram Verma, Senior Scientist Dr. M.S. Chandawat, Dr. Kamal Kishore Saini, Dr. Priyanka Swami, various training officers including women officers and teachers of Agriculture University were present.
