Telecom company Reliance Jio has launched a postpaid family plan. The name of this plan Jio is 'Jio Plus'. In this special plan, customers will get one month of service free. Customers will have to pay Rs 399 for the first connection. Customers will also get the option to add 3 extra connections. Rs 99 will have to be paid for each additional connection.
For 4 connections in Jio Plus, Rs 696 (399+99+99+99) will have to be paid every month. 75GB of data will be available with this plan. In the family plan with 4 connections, one SIM will cost an average of Rs 174 per month.
At the same time, customers who use more data can take a plan of 100 GB per month. For this, customers will have to pay Rs 699 for the first connection and Rs 99 per connection for every additional connection. A total of 3 extra connections only can be taken.
Apart from this, Jio has also launched some personal plans for customers. It has a 30GB plan for Rs 299 and there is also an unlimited data plan, for which the customer will have to pay Rs 599.
Jio is giving many offers to the customers in this new family plan. Unlimited 5G data will be available with the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer, which the entire family of the customer will be able to use. There is also no daily limit of data in this. This means users will get as much data as they want.
Apart from this, the customer will also be able to choose the number of his choice from the available numbers. Customers will also get single billing, data sharing and OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon, Jio TV and Jio Cinema in this plan. Jio Fiber users, corporate employees, existing postpaid users of other operators as well as credit card holders of Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI will not have to pay any security deposit.
At the launch, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said that the objective of launching Jio Plus is to provide benefits and experience to discerning postpaid users. So far, Jio's 5G service has been launched in 331 cities. Jio has said that if a user is not satisfied with the service even after one month of the free trial, he can cancel his connection without asking any questions.
