Jio-Vodafone's call drops are the highest, Airtel's are the lowest; TRAI tested the companies' quality in four cities

Jio and Vodafone Idea have won the race in terms of mobile phone call rates dropping, while Airtel has the lowest call drops. According to the data of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Airtel's call drops are 0.12%, while Jio and Vodafone Idea's rate is more than 0.23%.

TRAI conducted independent drive tests in four cities, New Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmednagar, and Hyderabad, from September to October. Delhi recorded the lowest call quality in this. In New Delhi, the test was conducted in 635 km within the city and 210 km on metro routes. 94% of Reliance Jio's calls are completed, while 97% of Airtel, Vodafone, and MTNL's calls are completed.

Service from MTNL provides the worst in call connectivity whose calls connect in average 3.27 seconds against 0.73 seconds of Jio and 0.82 seconds of Airtel. Coming back to the Sheer silence, Jio with 3.01% and Vodafone 2.34% recorded the highest rate of mute calls. Airtel has a muted call rate of 0.55%. Agency

In the test at New Delhi, Jio managed to download data on average at speeds of 231.82 Mbps. Airtel stood second with 171.44 Mbps while MTNL scored 3.71 Mbps and Vodafone Idea followed with 14.45 Mbps. In Upload, Jio's speed clocked 23.91 and Airtel's 34.37mbps.
