Jhulan Goswami included in MCC World Cricket Committee

Veteran Indian women cricketer Jhulan Goswami and two England players Heather Knight and former captain Oyen Morgan have been inducted ahead of the MCC World Cricket Committee (WCC) meeting at Lord's. The club informed me about this on Monday.
The WCC meeting will be held on the coming Monday and Tuesday ahead of the Ashes Test match.
The MCC makes the Laws of Cricket and also makes changes from time to time. The Marylebone Cricket Club came into existence in the year 1787 from today. Its headquarters is at Lord's Ground in England. Before the arrival of ICC, cricket was played only on the rules of MCC. ICC still follows the rules of MCC. The MCC still makes the Laws of Cricket, but they go through the ICC.
The WCC was founded by the MCC in 2006. It consists of current and former international cricketers and umpires from around the world. The MCC and WCC work for the International Cricket Committee, meeting twice a year to discuss issues relating to the game.
Regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in women's cricket, Goswami retired from international cricket last year, playing her last match against England at Lord's where she was given a guard of honor.
In April 2023, Goswami was made Honorary Life Member by MCC. On Goswami's arrival in WCC, Mike Gatting of the committee said that we are happy with the arrival of Morgan, Goswami, and Knight. All these players have made a name for themselves in international cricket. He has an understanding of international cricket. This will be beneficial for the committee.
