Jack Ma becomes visiting professor at Tokyo College

Jack Ma, the co-founder of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., has joined the Tokyo College of the University of Tokyo as a visiting professor. Bloomberg has published a report based on the profile page of the university's website.
According to the report, 58-year-old Ma will give advice on research topics and will also do research. The research will specifically include topics such as sustainable agriculture and food production. Here Ma will also do seminars on entrepreneurship and innovation. The Tokyo school did not provide details on what kind of lectures or seminars Ma would hold.
Ma was once the richest businessman in Asia. Jinping came under attack after criticizing the policies of the Chinese government. The world's largest IPO of Ma's company 'Ant Group' was also stopped and fined billions of dollars. Ma disappeared after this whole incident. He did not appear publicly.
He last tweeted in November 2020 and a video of him surfaced in 2021. In the video, Jack was seen saying that they will meet again after the pandemic is over. He was then seen in the Netherlands, Spain, Australia and Japan. He returned to China only last month.
After returning to China, Ma visited Yungu School in his hometown Hangzhou, where Alibaba is also headquartered. This school runs with the funding of Alibaba. Most of the children in this are from the employees of Alibaba. Ma talked about the challenges artificial intelligence poses to education in the school. Ma also stayed in Hong Kong for some time where he met his friends.
