Several accidents happen in the Desuri-Charbhuja Ghat section due to the road being narrow and old. Recently, an accident happened that news is published by Rajasthan Patrika continuously for making an elevated road in this Ghat section.

On this, MP PP Chaudhary met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and demanded to make the Desuri-Charbhuja Ghat section elevated. He told the minister that the condition of the nearly 9 km long Ghat road is dangerous. There are more than 12 dangerous turns on this route. There are 5 narrow bridges. Accidents keep happening there on the road. On this, Minister Gadkari assured about the construction of the road.

MP Chaudhary also demanded other roads, including the Desuri Ghat section. He demanded to make MDR 373 Marwar Junction Barsa, Sugalia, Dhamali, Bhimalia, Nibada, Somesar, Itandra, Mertia, Jawali, Nadana Bhat, Rani Road, MDR 374 State Highway 67 Somesar, Ghendi, Sivas, Khinwada, Panota Road as State Highway, MDR 375 Falna, Sumerpur, MDR 376 Sumer, Takhatgarh, Koselav, Birami, Rani, Extension MDR 40 Jetpura, Khaur, Jawali, Nadol Road, MDR 385 Ramasia, Garwalia Manihari, Bhanwari, Vayad, Chenda, Mandavas, MDR 386 Pali, Mandali to Denda, Kurna, Girwar, Chanod Road etc. roads in CRIF scheme. He requested that these roads be broadened.

On 7th September 2007, a big road accident occurred in Desuri Naal. Here, below Nag Devta, the truck taking pilgrims to Ramdevra fell into the ditch due to brake failure. Due to this, 89 people died. Irrespective of this, a number of accidents took place. According to Desuri Naal Sangharsh Samiti, a casualty figure of over one thousand deaths has been reached due to accidents so far.
