ISRO postponed the launch of crew module of Gaganyaan mission, testing stopped due to these reasons

The test vehicle was to be launched today under ISRO's ambitious Gaganyaan mission to send humans into space, which has been postponed due to technical reasons.

ISRO was scheduled to conduct the module test flight today to test the safety of astronauts in view of future human space programs. ISRO was to first test the crew module through the test vehicle Abort Mission-1 (TV-D 1).

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has today postponed the launch of the first unmanned test flight (TV-D1 flight test) of the Gaganyaan mission. ISRO chief S Somnath said the launch of Abort Mission-1 (TV-D1), the first flight test vehicle of Gaganyaan, has been stopped.

Somnath said the mission's lift-off attempt could not take place today as engine ignition could not be completed. Somnath said that the technical reasons behind this are being ascertained.
