Islamabad United has become the champion by defeating Multan Sultans in the final of Pakistan Super League. However, title winners Islamabad United have received less prize money from the Women's Premier League. The PSL 2024 final was played between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United on Monday, March 17, at the National Cricket Stadium, Karachi. Islamabad United won by two wickets. This is the second time that Islamabad has won the trophy. Whereas Multan Sultans had to face defeat in the final for the third consecutive time.

The Multan team managed to score 159 runs in the allotted 20 overs of the PSL 2024 final, losing nine wickets in the process. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 32 runs, Mohammad Rizwan scored 26 runs, and Usman Khan scored 57 runs for Multan. Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad, claimed three wickets while Imad Wasim claimed five. Martin Guptill scored fifty runs, Azam Khan scored thirty, and Imad scored nineteen for Islamabad in reply, helping the team win the title by two wickets.

The outcome of the thrilling PSL 2024 final match was determined by the final ball of the final over. When Huneen Shah hit a four on the last ball. Earlier, Islamabad United had captured the title for the first time in 2018 and now after 6 years, Islamabad United has again become the champion. With five wickets, Imad Wasim was the match's hero.

The prize money for the Women's Premier League 2024, which will take place in India, is significantly less. This time, RCB, the WPL champion, received Rs. 6 crore, while Delhi Capitals, the runner-up, received Rs. 3 crore.
