iPhone users will soon get Apple Intelligence with new iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 1 update
Apple has released iOS 18.2 developer beta 1 for its registered developers. However, the company has not yet rolled out iOS 18.1. It is possible that the company can release it in a day or two. The iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 1 update has been rolled out with features like writing tool web page summarization and automatic video maker.
Recently, Apple released the iOS 18.2 developer beta 1 for developers. The company hasn't released the iOS 18.1 update as of now. This software update of Apple is said to come with Apple Intelligence installed in it with the artificial intelligence feature, which was long expected. The preview of the same was shown by the company at its annual developer event WWDC 2024. Further talking about the AI features of Apple, the long lists many features such as Playground, Genomoji, and ChatGPT integration.
Writing tools, web page summarization, and auto video maker have been included in the iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 1 update. The update also provides the Image Playground feature, which allows users to generate AI-created images with text prompts. The Genmoji tool, which generates customized emojis, can also be used in messages, notes, keynotes, and other applications.
Along with all this, integration of ChatGPT has also been done in the developers' beta. In this way, that will make Apple's Siri even more advanced. OpenAI capabilities have come to Apple's smart voice assistant. It shall reply to photos and documents appearing on the screen.
It will also enable Apple users to use it as a writing utility. This will improve the quality and tone of the written text. In addition, the new update introduces features such as Google Lens and Circle to Search. Users can get answers to specific questions from the viewfinder or questions from the assistant by long pressing the camera control button.
Besides Apple Intelligence, it has made quite a few changes with the new update. Some changes pertain to design modifications and also to the mail application. All of these features are in English.
Apple brought its latest developer beta 1 update for the series of iPhone 16 and also for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max devices. Apple hasn't released the public beta yet. Probably, the company might release its public beta by next week.
