This day aims to promote peace and the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of an individual. On this auspicious day, people came forward on social media and shared the importance of yoga. "It is India's gift to the world," says the British Deputy High Commissioner.
PM Narendra Modi celebrated this day in Srinagar and urged everyone to make yoga a part of their lives. He also stated that yoga tourism is creating new avenues for employment. Every year, millions of people around the world come together from Leh to New York, the Army, the Navy,, and the Bollywood industry and celebrate this day to make people aware of the role of yoga in everyone's life.
