Integrated aviation center to be developed in Hisar, US trade body approves funding

The US Trade and Development Agency has approved grant funding for technical assistance to build an integrated aviation center at Hisar Airport in Haryana. US Trade and Development Agency Director Enoh T Abong announced this here on Tuesday at the three-day US-India Aviation Summit. It is being constructed to provide the cargo and logistic infrastructure of the integrated aviation center in this airport to strengthen the supply chain network of India further. He added, "I am happy to announce that the USTDA has approved grant funding for technical assistance to help build an integrated aviation center at Hisar airport in the state of Haryana."

However, Abong did not disclose the amount of the grant from USTDA. "Our steps will help develop airport cargo and logistics infrastructure, thereby making India's supply chain network stronger," the top official said. He noted that there are ten aviation projects in India to which American companies can contribute. "We want to do more work, and this summit is an opportunity to set the direction for the next chapter of our mutually beneficial aviation partnership," he added.
