Colliers says there has been a decline in overall investment due to reduced inflows into office properties. In the same period last year, an institutional investment of $ 1002.1 million was received.
According to data released by Colliers India on Saturday, there has been a huge decline of 89 percent in institutional investment in office properties in the last quarter, and only $ 79.1 million was invested in it.
During the same period last year, there was investment of $694.3 million in office properties. Similarly, institutional investment in mixed-use properties has declined by 73 percent to $27.2 million, compared to $100.8 million in the same period last year.
However, there has been a 47 percent increase in institutional investment in residential properties in the last quarter and a total investment of $ 274 million has been received. There was institutional investment of $187 million in residential properties in the same quarter last year.
There has been an institutional investment of $340 million in industrial and warehousing properties in the last quarter. Foreign investment accounted for 77 percent of the total institutional investment. According to the data, even though there has been a decline in institutional investment during July-September, there has been an increase of 27 percent during January-September.
