Instagram remained down for 2 hours: 1.88 lakh users worldwide complained

Photo sharing app Instagram was down for more than two hours on Monday morning. Instagram went down at around 3:15 am. Posts stopped appearing in the app of thousands of people around the world, due to which people started complaining about it.
According to the Down Detector website, the maximum number of 1.88 lakh people's apps were down at 4:16 am. Instagram tweeted at 5:45 am and informed me that Instagram was down due to a technical glitch. The bug has been fixed and Instagram is now up and running.
This is the second case of Instagram being down in four days. Earlier on May 18, many users around the world had complained about the app not running. At the same time, earlier in March also, users had faced trouble accessing Instagram. There are about 230 million users of Instagram in India.
Meta's social networking platform Instagram is preparing to bring a new microblogging text-based app to compete with Twitter. According to reports, this new app on Instagram can be launched by the end of June.
According to sources, the company is currently testing this project. For testing, the company has secretly given this app to some selected celebrities, influencers, and creators for the last few months.
