Instagram has come up with a new feature for creators that makes sharing their profiles with others simple and enjoyable. On Instagram, Meta-owned social media platform creators can now create two-sided digital cards. The special feature is that this option after Meta's newly launched 'Song on Profile' function, which lets users create a profile with a song.
Instagram's blog says that users can now make a more animated and personalized digital profile card that they can share with others. This card offers the ability to include links, biographical details, music that reflects the individual's personality, and other content in addition to a QR code. Users can alter the background's color and add personalized emojis or selfies.
This card can be shared on one side, and on the other, there is a QR code that can be scanned by others to access the profile. According to the company, creators may find this to be a convenient way to publish their profiles and facilitate brand partnerships. Instagram has already made it possible to post profile cards, but it was only possible to do so with QR codes. Users are now able to share their favorite songs or interests.
In order to share profile cards, users must navigate to Instagram's profile section and select the 'Share Profile' option. After that, they can choose the edit icon to add the information they want. In addition to Instagram Stories, several networks allow profile cards to be shared.
