Infinix Smart 8: Infinix new phone launched for less than Rs 10 thousand, will get 5000mAh battery with 8GB RAM

Infinix Smart 8 has been launched in Nigeria. This is the successor variant of Infinix Smart 7, launched in February this year. Now, this smartphone is available for purchase in the Nigerian markets. The only 4GB + 128GB variant of the Infinix Smart 8 is currently available for purchase in Nigeria. According to the online listing, the phone's price is NGN 97,900 (approximately Rs 10,100). A report says that the retail price of the handset has been set at NGN 82,000 (roughly Rs. 8,500). This smartphone has been introduced in Crystal Green, Galaxy White, Timber Black, and Shiny Gold color options.

The handset features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness level of 90Hz. It comes with XOS 13 on top of Android 13. Infinix Smart 8 is equipped with an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC chipset paired with 4GB of RAM which can be expanded to 8GB and 256GB of memory.

The dual rear camera on the Infinix Smart 8 features a 13MP primary rear sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a secondary AI-assisted sensor with a ring LED light unit at the top left corner of the back. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfies.

Infinix has provided a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support in its new smartphone. Infinix Smart 8 Dual SIM also supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. For security, the phone is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack.
