The series will begin on October 6 in Gwalior.

Prabhu Yadav, Mayank's father, is originally from Bihar's Supaul district. However, Mayank was born and raised in Delhi. Mayank debuted for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2022. His bowling drew the attention of Lucknow Super Giants assistant coach Vijay Dahiya. Lucknow signed him during the IPL 2024 auction for a base price of 20 lakhs.
