ISSF World Cup: Manu Bhaker will lead the Indian shooting team in the first two World Cups of this year. The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced a 35-member squad for the upcoming two ISSF World Cups.

Manu Bhaker, who won the Paris 2024's two medals of bronze, would be the captain of the Indian team for the year's first two World Cups. A 35-member squad for the upcoming two ISSF World Cups has been declared by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1st-11th April is the first World Cup's venue, while the second World Cup is from 13th-22nd April at Lima, Peru.

Manu Bhaker is the lone shooter chosen for the two individual events from this squad. She will begin her season with these World Cups and compete in the 10m air pistol as well as the 25m pistol events.

A camp will also be held for the shooters selected for the upcoming two World Cups. This camp will be held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi.

India's long-distance runner Gulveer Singh qualified for the upcoming World Athletics Championship 2025 by finishing fourth in the 5000m event of the Terrier DMR Challenge Indoor Competition in Boston on Friday night. This 26-year-old athlete of the Indian Army clocked 12 minutes 59.77 seconds and improved his performance. However, he missed out on winning a medal. In this event, America's 1500m Olympic champion Cole Hocker won the gold medal. He clocked 12:58.82 minutes.
