Today on 3rd October, the Indian men's cricket team has made a great start to its campaign in the T20 cricket event of the Asian Games 2023. India has entered the semi-finals after defeating Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter-finals of the Asian Games. Now India is just two wins away from the gold medal. In the quarter-finals against Nepal, India won the toss batted first, and scored 202 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response to Nepal team could score only 179 runs. For India, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant century of 100 runs with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes in just 49 balls. Whereas, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan took three wickets each.

India made a good start by winning the toss and electing to bat first. In the powerplay, India scored 63 runs without losing any wickets. In the very next over, Yashasvi Jaiswal completed his half-century. The first blow to India came in the form of captain Rituraj Gaikwad at a score of 103 runs in the 10th over. He was caught by Rohit Paudel on the ball of Deependra Singh on a personal score of 25 runs.

The second blow to India was given by Sompal Kami by bowling Tilak Verma (2) in the 12th over on the score of 111. Then in the very next over, Lamichhane gave the third blow to the score of 119 by caught and bowling Jitesh Sharma. India's fourth wicket fell at the score of 150.

Yashasvi Jaiswal became the victim of Deependra Singh after scoring 100 runs in just 49 balls with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes. Shivam Dubey returned unbeaten after scoring 25 runs in 19 balls and Rinku Singh returned unbeaten after scoring 37 runs in 15 balls. India scored 202 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 4 wickets.

Nepal's start to chase India's target of 203 runs was nothing special. He lost the first wicket in the form of Asif Shaikh (10) for just 29 runs in the fourth over. Sheikh was caught by Avesh Khan at the hands of Jitesh behind the wicket.

Nepal's team got the second blow in the form of Kushal Bhurtel on 62 runs. Bhurtel became the victim of Sai Kishore after scoring 28 runs in 32 balls. Then Ravi Bishnoi gave the third big blow to Nepal at the score of 76 by getting explosive batsman Kushal Malla caught by Rinku Singh. Malla played an inning of 29 runs in 22 balls.

After this, Bishnoi gave the fourth blow to Nepal captain Rohit Paudel (3) by LBW. Deepend Singh Airi was once again seen batting stormily, but Bishnoi got him caught by Kishore. Airi played an innings of 32 runs in just 15 balls.

In this way, half of Nepal's team returned to the pavilion after scoring 122 runs in 14.2 overs. Nepal's sixth wicket fell at 140 runs in the form of Sudeep Jora (29). The seventh wicket fell in the form of Sompal Kami (7). After this Gulshan Jha was out after scoring just 6 runs. Nepal's 9th wicket fell in the form of Sandeep Lamichhane at the score of 173. Ultimately, the Nepal team could score only 179 runs at the loss of 9 wickets and India won the match by 23 runs.
