India has become a ray of hope amidst the turmoil in the world, PM said - our country is spreading hope
Growth: Prime Minister Modi said that India has its own concerns, but there is a feeling of positivity in it which everyone also feels for India. He said that today India is a developing country as well as an emerging power. We also understand the challenges of poverty and also know how to make a path of progress.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about India as an emerging power and stated that, in a time of global unrest, India has emerged as a beacon of hope and is promoting optimism. Speaking at a conference hosted by the television network NDTV, the prime minister claimed that India is unexpectedly advancing quickly in all areas.
He said, "Today when the center of discussion is worry, then the topic of discussion in India is 'India's Century'. India has emerged as a ray of hope against all turmoil in the world. When the world is engrossed in worries, India is spreading hope."
Modi said that while India has its set of concerns, there is a feeling of positivity everyone feels for India. "Today India is a developing country as well as an emerging power. We understand the challenges of poverty and also know how to make a path of progress. Our government is rapidly making policies, taking decisions, making new reforms," he said. "Today the speed at which India is working in every sector, in every area, is unprecedented. India's speed, India's scale is unprecedented," he said.
Referring to the various works undertaken during the first 125 days of his third term, the Prime Minister said, "Now India is moving ahead with a vision for the future; this indeed is reflected in the resolve to make India a developed country by 2047.".
"We have flagged off 3 crore houses for the poor, infrastructure projects of Rs 9 lakh crore, and 15 new Vande Bharat trains," he said.
Modi further added that India also participated in events on Telecom and Digital Future, the Global Semiconductor Ecosystem, Global Fintech Festival, and organized International conferences to debate and discuss the future of civil aviation and renewable energy. "These events are a reflection of the trust which the world has in India," he said.
