India and Nepal reach the final in Kho Kho World Cup 2025; Know when and where the match will be played

The women of India now have to wait for just one night and one win to become the king of their traditional game Kho Kho. The Indian women's Kho Kho team defeated South Africa 66-16 in a one-sided match in the semi-final played on Saturday evening. On Sunday, at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, India faces neighboring country Nepal, which defeated Uganda 89-18 in the first semi-final match.

The Indian women, dressed in their blue jersey, took off in scintillating style courtesy of a dream run of Chaithra B. Chaithra single-pointedly scored five before getting out for South Africa's Sinthemba Mosia. Turn 2 turned out all different as Indian women out-dueled the South Africans in multiple batches and earned crucial points and at the end of this turn, the match was tilted in the Indian women's corner at 33-10.

Dream Run At the end of Turn 3, Vaishnavi Powar, Nasreen Sheikh, and Bhilardevi played well for five minutes. In Turn 4, the longest batch for the South African players lasted just one minute and 45 seconds, ensuring the Indians secured their place in the final. Nasreen Sheikh and Reshma Rathore led the team to victory and the final score was 66-16.
