Ahead of the third T20 match against Zimbabwe on Wednesday, the players of the Indian team went on a jungle safari with family and support staff. Pictures of this trip have been shared from the official 'X' handle of BCCI. The caption of the post reads that the BCCI in association with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism organized a wildlife tour for the Indian cricket team and their families in Harare.
The arrival of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey, and Yashasvi Jaiswal for the remaining three matches of the series has strengthened the Indian team. All three players were part of India's T20 World Cup-winning campaign in the US and the West Indies. Due to the delayed return from Barbados, the BCCI had included Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana in the Indian squad for the first two T20s. Sudarshan made his T20 debut in the second match but did not get a chance to bat.
The Shubman Gill-led Indian team registered a stunning 100-run win in the second match against Zimbabwe and leveled the five-match series 1-1. The hosts stunned the young team in the first match of this series. Harare was to host the third T20 between India and Zimbabwe on Wednesday, July 10.
