The pair of Rachin Ravindra and Darryl Mitchell have created history on the ground of Dharamshala in the ICC World Cup 2023. Both the batsmen of the Kiwi team together have destroyed the 44-year-old record. Indian bowlers look completely helpless in front of Rachin and Mitchell and both the Kiwi batsmen have completed their half-centuries.

The pair of Rachin Ravindra and Darryl Mitchell have shattered a 44-year-old record in the 50-over World Cup. Rachin and Mitchell have made the record of making the biggest partnership for any wicket for New Zealand while playing against India in the World Cup.

Both the batsmen of the Kiwi team made a partnership of 159 runs for the third wicket. Before Rachin-Mitchell, the record of the biggest partnership by New Zealand against Team India was in the name of John Wright and Bruce Agar, who had made a partnership of 100 runs for the first wicket in the year 1979.

Rachin Ravindra took full advantage of the life he got in the 11th over of the innings. Rachin batted brilliantly and played a strong inning of 75 runs in 87 balls. During this inning, the Kiwi batsman hit 6 fours and one six. At the same time, till the time of writing the news, Darryl Mitchell was standing at the crease after scoring 78 runs on 82 balls. Mitchell has hit 4 fours and four sixes.

However, New Zealand, who came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a good start. Mohammed Siraj showed Devon Conway the way to the pavilion without opening the account. After this, Mohammed Shami clean-bowled Will Young on the very first ball of his spell.
