IND vs IRE: Young India ready to revolt against Ireland, captain Jasprit Bumrah spoke heartily on his return

The first T20 match between India and Ireland will be played from Friday, 18 August. During the press conference before the match, captain Jasprit Bumrah gave a statement regarding his return. Bumrah said that he has never been away from the game for so long. He said that he was always preparing for the World Cup.

It should be noted that Jasprit Bumrah's return before the Asia Cup and ODI World is good news for India. Returning to fitness after 11 months away from the game, Jasprit Bumrah on Thursday said he is ready to bowl longer spells.

Bumrah, who led India in the three-match T20 series against Ireland, said in the press conference, 'We know that there is no Test cricket till the ODI World Cup. Even during rehabilitation, I was not preparing for the T20 match. I was always preparing for the World Cup.

Bumrah said, 'I was bowling 10, 12 and even 15 overs. I bowled more overs, that way when I needed to bowl fewer overs, it would be easier. I just want to enjoy the game as I am coming back after a long break. Never been away from the game for so long.
