In the T20 format, Rohit Sharma returned with his fifth century. Rohit took over the innings after India's poor start and scored 121 runs in 69 balls, which included 11 fours and 8 sixes. Also, Rohit played the best innings of his career in T20.

The captain, along with Rinku Singh, played an unbeaten inning of 69 runs in 39 balls for the fifth wicket, taking India's score to 212. In this match, Rohit had to bat not once but twice. After the score of the match was tied in 20 overs, it was played in Super Over. Rohit hit two sixes while batting in the first super over. Ravi Bishnoi brought victory to India by taking 2 wickets in the second over.
