Priyanka Chopra recently talked about her 19-year-old film Aitraaz. She told that she was so lost in the character of Sonia that she started behaving like her even at home. His mother had noticed his behaviour and scolded him.
In an interview given to Film Companion, Priyanka was asked which character was the most difficult for her to get into or out of. Priyanka said this- 'It happened to me only once, when my mother said that if you are coming to my house, then leave this character outside.'
On being asked about the name of the film, Priyanka said, "Aitraaz, I did not misbehave with anyone like Sonia, but that character was slowly dominating me." I would deliberately talk like that, I would pick up my coffee just like Sonia. My way of looking at someone had also become the same.
Priyanka further told that her mother Madhu Chopra shot a video of her and showed how she has started behaving. He said- My mother said, Hello, there is no camera here. This only happened to me once, but it was a lot of fun. I was like what am I doing? But I was very young and I really wanted to find out why I was behaving like this.
I was working with Kareena and Akshay at that time, they were big stars. This was a big opportunity for me. Maybe that's why it happened. My mother soon put me on the ground by showing me the reality. They secretly showed me my video, then I was very embarrassed.
On the work front, Priyanka will soon be seen in Citadel. The show will be streamed on Prime Video on April 28. Apart from this, the actress will soon be shooting for the film Jee Le Zara.
