Heat wave is on in most states of this country at this moment. The people are in poor health because of heat and heat wave. Simultaneously, there is also a possibility of rain in most states. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has also announced an alert notice regarding an upcoming heatwave and heavy rain in various parts of this country during the next seven days.

There is a severe heat in the plains including the national capital Delhi. Besides this, there is a heat wave as well. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert about a heat wave in most states. In terms of North Indian weather, there will be heat wave conditions here. Meanwhile, there is a sight of light rain and snowfall in the mountain states.

Today, a heat wave alert has been imposed in Delhi. The temperature in Delhi can go up by 2-3 degree Celsius to 40-42 degree Celsius. A heat wave alert has also been sounded on Friday and Saturday.

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, the effect of severe heat can be seen in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Eastern Rajasthan, Haryana, Odisha, Punjab and Delhi today. There is a possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in many areas of Bihar and Jharkhand between 24 and 26 April. IMD has issued a yellow alert for Kishanganj and Araria.

Severe heat will continue in most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh even today. However, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and light rain in some districts of eastern UP. Heat wave conditions will persist in western UP. The mercury can cross 40 degrees in districts like Kanpur, Agra and Lucknow. On the other hand, heat wave conditions will persist in the eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh.

There will be rain in many states

Due to the effect of western disturbance, there may be rain or snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. There may be lightning, thunder and strong winds in Himalayan states like Srinagar and Gulmarg of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
