Aadhaar cards are currently utilised in numerous locations as ID proof. Under these circumstances, the number of Aadhar card fraud cases has increased.

The Aadhaar card, commonly known as the Aadhaar number, has 12 numbers that represent an individual's identification. The Aadhaar card is created using the user's fingerprint, iris scan, and photo provided by UIDAI, the organisation that issues the cards. It follows that an individual's biometric and demographic information is stored on their Aadhaar card.

To perpetrate fraud in such circumstances, a lot of con artists attempt to create phoney Aadhar cards. Fraud has been discovered to have occurred often using fictitious Aadhar cards. In such a situation, UIDAI also provides the facility of verification to the user to identify real and fake Aadhaar cards.
