'If only! I would have worked with him earlier': Director Rajkumar Hirani praised Shah Rukh

After the success of Pathaan, actor Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for Danki Aur Jawan these days. Through Danky, Shah Rukh is working with director Rajkumar Hirani for the first time. Now in a recent media interview, Rajkumar Hirani talked about Shahrukh's way of working and his gestures. During this he said – I wish I had worked with him earlier.
In an interview with India Today, Rajkumar said- Shah Rukh shoots videos of each scene at his home and sends them to me. He narrates each and every scene in about 15 ways. Before I go on set, I know what they are going to do.
Hirani further said- 'Sometimes I have kept two days for a shoot and he completes it in two hours. He has a very good command of the language and his personality is very attractive. He completely surprised me by coming to the shoot at 7 in the morning.
The prince further said- 'He knows that I sleep early. That's why Shahrukh's manager Pooja also tells him not to wake me up till late. He calls me soon. He often teases me that by the time the shoot is over, he would have changed me. He tells me – itni subah kaun utha hai?’ Shahrukh keeps his team extremely happy. Everyone eats and parties together. The team is family to him. If only! I would have already worked with him.
Praising Shahrukh, Rajkumar Hirani said- 'Danky is a high-performance film. It has a lot of monologues and long scenes. But, Shah Rukh memorized the entire script and got it in his head very well. It was a wonderful experience working with him.
Rajkumar Hirani is returning to the film world after a long break of almost a year. His last film was Sanju in the year 2018, which was a biopic of Sanjay Dutt. Apart from Shahrukh, Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani will be seen in lead roles in Danki.
