The ceremonial consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22. Ramlala will be enthroned in the recently built temple on this momentous day. On one hand, there is enthusiasm among the devotees surrounding this rite. On the other side, political unrest never stops. Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray, recently questioned the placement of the Ram temple. Countering this, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said that the UBT Shiv Sena should stop insulting the sentiments of crores of Hindus.

According to Sanjay Raut, the BJP is chanting, "Mandir will be built there," about the Ram temple in Ayodhya. However, if you visit Ayodhya, you will discover that the temple has not been constructed where it was supposed to be. The Ram temple is currently under construction four kilometres away from the place of contention. Raut had insisted that the contested location remained unchanged.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took cognizance of Sanjay Raut's statement. Speaking to reporters after visiting the Mumbadevi temple, Fadnavis said, 'I don't answer to fools, but I can say one thing - stop insulting Hindus.'

Fadnavis said that people who have no contribution to the Ram Mandir movement are insulting crores of Hindus by alleging anything. Fadnavis said that the UTB Sena should stop insulting the Hindu community.
