Hyundai Venue's variant list has been updated with the new mid-spec S(O) Plus. This car, which comes with a sunroof, is the most affordable variant. It has everything that is in the S(O) variant, but it has more new features than the old one. Let's know what new has been given in the Hyundai Venue S(O) Plus variant.

Hyundai Venue variant list updated; mid-spec S(O) Plus gets a sunroof; its price increased by Rs 12,000 over the earlier variant. Auto-LED headlamps and LED DRLs at the front, while LED tail lamps get a connecting bar design at the rear. Other than this, features like 15-inch steel wheels and body-color outside rearview mirrors have also been provided in it.

Now, the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated unit, churning out 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of peak torque only comes in the Venue S(O) Plus variant. The motor will come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. However, apart from this, some variants would get a 1-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Now, turbo-petrol has been mated with dual-clutch automatic transmission of 7-speeds besides the conventional 6-speed manual. Meanwhile, the diesel variant is paired with the 6-speed MT only.

Coming to its interior, it has an off-white and black theme borrowed from the regular Venue. Moreover, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital driver display, a single-pane sunroof, a height-adjustment driver seat, and manual AC are provided. Other than this, six airbags, a rear parking camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a hill start assist have been provided in the interest of passenger safety.

This list of updates on the Hyundai Venue will not be reflected in its other variants. Ex-showroom, it is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.44 lakh. This sub-4 meter SUV competes against the following cars: Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
