Hyundai Venue was recently launched with the mid-spec S(O) Plus variant Sunroof, now it has been launched with a new variant Hyundai Venue S Plus. Whose ex-showroom price is Rs 9.36 lakh. It has been brought between the lower-spec S and mid-spec S(O) variants. Let's know what special things are going to be found in it.

Now, coming to the Venue S Plus variant of Hyundai, a 1.2-liter petrol engine has been fitted, which is capable of producing 83 PS of power and 113.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

In addition to the sunroof, the S Plus variant of Hyundai Venue comes along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This comes fitted with an 8-inch touchscreen, semi-digital instrument cluster, auto-headlights, and a rear AC vent. Features like six airbags, ESC, Tyre pressure monitoring system make their way towards the features for passenger safety.

Hyundai has placed its new variant Rs 25,000 more than the previous S trim. At the same time, the recently launched S(O) Plus variant with sunroof comes priced at Rs 64,000 more than the S Plus. The price of Hyundai Venue (ex-showroom) ranges from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.48 lakh. In the Indian market, it will compete with Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.

Hyundai is prepping to introduce the refreshed version of its upcoming vehicle Alcazar in India by September 2024. The testing for the same has also begun. Which has also been spotted on Indian roads many a time. At the same time, after the facelift of Creta earlier in the year, it is due for a mid-life refresh.
