Hero trademarks Mavrick Scrambler 440, can make entry with these features
Hero MotoCorp is expected to make mostly cosmetic changes along with a few changes to the motorcycle for the Scrambler edition. You can also expect a different set of tyres that are dual-purpose. Powering the motorcycle will be the same 440 cc air-oil cooled engine that produces a maximum power output of 27 bhp at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 36 Nm at 4000 rpm.
Hero MotoCorp launched its flagship motorcycle Mavrick 440 in the Indian market in February. It has been co-developed with Harley-Davidson. The Harley Davidson X440 is the cheapest motorcycle in the company's lineup.
For the Scrambler edition, Hero MotoCorp is expected to make mostly cosmetic changes along with a few changes to the motorcycle. You can also expect a different set of tyres that are dual-purpose. Apart from this, a wider handlebar, a new seat and a different set of footpegs can be found.
There's a chance that the Hero wheel size will vary as the Scrambler has a front wheel that is 19 inches in diameter. A different mudguard, hand guards, and possibly new graphics for the fuel tank are among the other possible modifications.
The same 440 cc air-cooled engine, which generates 36 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm and a maximum power output of 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm—a slight 2 Nm less than the torque of the X440—will power the motorcycle similarly. Low-end torque is prioritised by tuning the engine.
It will not change in terms of the feature set. One can anticipate an LED instrument cluster that is fully digital and has Bluetooth connectivity. Considering that the motorcycle is a scrambler, Hero MotoCorp may add switchable ABS to it.
The launch of the motorcycle cannot be confirmed by the trademark filing. Many times vehicle manufacturers only secure the rights to the name, so that no one else can use it.
