Hero MotoCorp has launched the New-Generation Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 in the Indian market. The company has priced it at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The New Gen Hero Splendor celebrates the 30th anniversary of the world's best-selling motorcycle and includes many premium and segment-first features. Let's know about all the changes made to it.
With a high-intensity position lamp (HIPL), the Splendour+ XTEC 2.0 boasts a new LED headlamp. A new H-shaped signature taillight is another feature that gives the commuter a unique appearance. The model's well-known silhouette is still there, nevertheless.
There is a digital speedometer with an eco-indicator on the Splendour+ XTEC 2.0 as well. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity for calls, SMS, and battery alerts, the new instrument console has a real-time mileage indicator (RTMI). Updated safety features on the bike include hazard lights. Hero has increased convenience with a larger glovebox that is designed like a hinge, USB charging, and a longer seat for increased comfort. Also receiving a new dual-tone paint job is the 2024 Hero Splendour+ XTEC 2.0.
The new generation Splendor+ XTEC is powered by a 100 cc engine that produces 7.9 bhp at 8000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. This powertrain comes with an Idle Stop Start System (i3S) that delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 73 kmpl.
Hero has also increased the service interval to 6,000 km, which is expected to reduce the running cost. The company is also offering a 5-year/70,000 km warranty. The new Splendor+ XTEC is available in three dual-tone colors - Matte Grey, Gloss Black, and Gloss Red.
