Hero MotoCorp has confirmed the arrival of the new Destini 125 scooter. We have also received a media invite for its unveiling. Pictures of this upcoming scooter were leaked a few days ago, touting its arrival soon and Hero is all set to bring the model just in time for the festive season. The upcoming Hero Destiny 125 will come with extensive updates, including a new design language, an updated motor, and more features.

Tons of design changes are expected in the new Hero Destiny 125. From this leaked image, one could guess at retro-inspired styling that features a redesigned front apron with 'H'-theme, an updated handlebar, and a new headlamp cluster. The new headlight is quite likely to be an LED unit. Adding this to the taillights along with the indicators could very much be on the cards of the company to make it look premium.

It will also get a revised side panel, under-seat storage space, floorboard and seat. Even the top variant of the upcoming scooter might come with a backrest. Other than this, the new Hero Destiny 125 is likely to get premiums paint options including dual-tone theme. This scooter is likely to be the latest version with chrome treatment.

No information has come regarding the specification of the engine, but this model will share the same engine. An update is likely in that respect. The outgoing Destiny 125 draws its power from a 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor with fuel injection that puts out 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of peak torque coming in at 5,500 rpm.

It comes fitted with a CVT automatic transmission. As far as suspension is concerned, the scooter makes use of telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. Braking performance is brought about by drum brakes on both sides and combi braking.
