Heavy rain in Hadoti, Kalisindh river in spate, State Highway 70 closed, many roads closed
Heavy Rain in Rajasthan: A sheet of water of about 3 feet is flowing on the culvert of the Parvati River. Due to this, State Highway 70 Kota-Sheopur highway has been blocked for the last three days.
A period of heavy rain has started in Hadoti region on Sunday. By noon, Jhalawar district has received the most rain. Kalisindh river is in spate. Due to this, the administration has issued an alert from Jhalawar to Kota. Due to good rains in the catchment area of Chambal and Madhya Pradesh, there is a continuous inflow of water in the Parvati and Chambal rivers located in Khatauli in Kota district.

Rajasthan's road connectivity with Madhya Pradesh is cut off. A period of heavy rain has started in Kota city from 11 am. The roads are flooded.
The Kadodia-Raipur road was blocked for about two hours due to no drainage of water in the rain drain near Kadodia in the Sunel area of Jhalawar district. During this time, many government offices including the passenger waiting room, government school, and veterinary hospital were submerged. Many houses were flooded.
At the same time, a sheet of water about 4 feet is flowing on the Jherer culvert of the Chambal River. Due to this, the Khatauli-Sawaimadhopur road has been blocked for the last 8 days. Drivers have to take a long detour to reach Sawaimadhopur.
