India is on the top list of places experiencing extreme heatwaves; some of the places deeply affected are Western Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West UP. 

The situation in the eastern and northern parts of India is more than worse, exceeding 45 degrees Celsius daily. In this continuous period of extreme heatwave, five people were found dead in Delhi in the past 72 hours due to heatstroke at three hospitals. The symptoms seen were suffering from electrolyte deficiency, heatstroke, a fever greater than 105 degrees, and dehydration. One of the doctors from Lok Nayak Hospital stated that most of the patients were laborers and rickshaw pullers over the age of 60. 

During this, seven people were admitted, and after reaching a 107-degree fever, five of them were kept on ventilators. Most of the affected patients are admitted to private hospitals and small clinics in Delhi, increasing the number day by day. In Noida, too, more than 10 people died in the last 24 hours. Every day, hundreds of people are affected by heatstroke, and currently more than 50 are admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. 

Delhi currently experiencing 42 degrees Celsius. Doctors say heatstroke is usually caused by your body's inability to cool off and sweat. One should take preventive measures before going out and should take a cure as soon as the symptoms are seen.
