Delhi's mercury reached 31.5 degrees on Sunday, which is the highest in the first 19 days of February in the last 14 years. The all-time record for maximum temperature in February is 34.1 °C, which was set on February 26 in 2006.
At the same time, in the years 2021, 2018, 2017 and 2010, the maximum temperature exceeded 31.5 degrees, but this figure could be touched only after 20 February. Talking about rain, it hasn't rained even a single day in February this year. Earlier in the year 2018, there was no rain even for a single day in the month of February. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief from the heat in Delhi for the next two days. There will be some change in the weather from February 22 and there can be some relief from the heat.
The weather in Bhopal has also changed due to the anti-cyclone formed in the Arabian Sea. After 9 days the mercury reached close to 33 degrees. The day temperature increased by 2.7 degrees. There was no change in the night temperature for 72 hours. The mercury was at 14 degrees at 5:30 am. It had reached 28 degrees at 11:30 am. Earlier on February 10, the day temperature was recorded at 32.8 degrees. For the last 3 days, the minimum temperature remained at 13.4 degrees.

A jump of about 3 degrees was recorded in the mercury of Jaipur on Sunday. Due to this people felt intense heat in the afternoon. On Saturday, when the day temperature in the capital was 30.4 degrees Celsius, it jumped to 33.2 degrees on Sunday.

For the last few days, the maximum temperature in Delhi is increasing. Pitampura area recorded the highest maximum temperature of 32.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The minimum temperature here was 16.3 degree Celsius.

Till February 25, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to remain at 30 degrees. Light fog may occur in Delhi on Monday morning, but the weather will be warm due to the sunshine during the day. At the same time, the maximum temperature is estimated to be 32 degrees and the minimum temperature is 12 degrees.
