HDFC Bank has informed that it will now give jobs to more than 3,000 people during the current financial year.

207 new bank branches will open
HDFC Bank says that it has set a target of opening 207 new bank branches and 80 smart banking lobbies in the state during the current financial year. New branches will be opened all over Maharashtra. It is being told that HDFC will cover 34 districts of this state. HDFC Bank will employ more than 3,000 people during the current financial year 22-2023. HDFC Bank said that 90 of the new branches will be in metros and urban areas, while the remaining 117 will be opened in semi-urban and rural areas.

HDFC said that keeping in mind the digitally enabled customers, Smart Banking Lobby has been started in 16 districts. It will be operational for 24 hours and 7 days. This facility will be available in the cities of Ahmednagar, Akola, Amravati, Aurangabad, Dhule, Jalgaon, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nandurbar, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Thane, and Wardha.

It is to be known that HDFC Limited, the country's largest housing finance company, announced a merger with the largest bank HDFC Bank in the month of April. In the first phase, HDFC Investments and HDFC Holdings will be merged into HDFC Limited. With a deal worth about $ 40 billion, a big company in the financial services sector will come into existence. The combined asset base of the proposed unit would be around Rs 18 lakh crore.
