Hardik told the team, don't sledge with Sri Lankans

The first match of the 3 T20 match series against Sri Lanka is to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday. The team is being captained by Hardik Pandya. Several senior players including Rohit and Virat have been rested from the series. India played the last match with Sri Lanka in T20 during the Asia Cup. India was defeated.
Pandya said in the pre-match press conference on Monday that he wants to forget what happened in the Asia Cup and move on. He said I assure you that our players will not do any kind of sledding on Sri Lankan players to create pressure in the match. Our body language is enough to create mental pressure on them. They should feel comfortable that they are playing in India.
Pandya further said that our team played defensively in the T20 World Cup held in Australia. But against Sri Lanka, I want the players to express themselves fearlessly. It is up to us how we support them. We have told the players that we will give you full support. I will also give full support to all the players from my side.
Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and KL Rahul have been rested for the home series against Sri Lanka. In such a situation, Rituraj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill can open with Ishaan Kishan. However, in the press conference, Hardik did not speak openly about playing XI.
