Monday 27 November 2023 is Guru Nanak Jayanti (Guru Nanak Jayanti 2023) and Kartik Purnima (Kartik Purnima 2023). There were bank holidays in the month of November due to many festivals. It will be a long weekend once again. This week, banks will also remain closed on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti and Karti Purnima on 25th November, fourth Saturday, 26th of November Sunday, and 27th of November.

Guru Nanak Jayanti festival is celebrated on Kartik Purnima. In such a situation, bank holidays will remain closed in many states. According to the bank holiday list released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 27 November 2023, Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur. Banks will remain closed in New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar.

Banks of Telangana will remain closed on Kanakadas Jayanti on November 30, 2023. Apart from this, due to assembly elections, banks of Bengaluru and Hyderabad (Telangana) will also remain closed. If you are going to go to the bank for important bank-related work, then you must check your state-wise bank holiday list once. If you do not do this then you may have to face problems.
